“I was first elected as Altoona’s Mayor in 2013. On November 3, 2015, I was re-elected as the City’s full-time Mayor, a newly-created position under the City’s Home Rule Charter. I have been instrumental in initiating a number of strategies to improve the City’s financial outlook and attract new business, including the formation of a City/County-wide land bank and a City Revitalization and Improvement Zone. I am working with state and federal representatives and officials to bring about positive change to the community. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Altoona General Authority, Altoona Blair County Development Corporation, the Greater Altoona Economic Development Corporation and the Altoona Redevelopment Authority.
Serving as Operations Manager for 10 years at my family’s business, Pacifico Bakery, I had the opportunity of overseeing all functions of the business from mixing to shipping! I am a 1999 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and my wife Kristal and I have 2 sons, Ethan, and Angelo.”
