Central Blair Recreation Commission (CBRC) was founded in 1993 by the City of Altoona, Logan Township and the Altoona Area School District. An Inter-Municipal Agreement coordinates the City, the Township and the School District to administer parks and recreation programs and activities, facilities and policies.
CBRC is composed of two (2) persons appointed by each Municipality and the School District with one member from each being an elected official of City Council, the Township Supervisors and the School Board of Directors.
