Department Function:
-
coordinate all communications and correspondence for the Mayor and City Council and provide staff support
-
in cooperation with the City Manager, prepare Council agendas and other documents necessary for Council meetings and coordinate participation
-
attend all City Council meetings and record minutes
-
record and maintain all executive documents, resolutions, ordinances and meeting minutes for the City of Altoona
-
create and coordinate all public relations for the City of Altoona
-
participate in special projects as assigned
-
fulfill public records requests for information by city departments and the public
-
maintain and preserve all historical documents and information within the archives of the City of Altoona
