MEMORIAL DAY PARADE INFO FOR ALTOONA, JUNIATA AND ST. MARY'S
The Memorial Day Parade, hosted by the Blair County War Veterans Council and the City of Altoona, will be held in Downtown Altoona on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The parade will form at 10:00 a.m. and step out at 10:30 a.m. from 8th Avenue and 17th Street and proceed over the 17th Street Veterans Memorial Bridge, to 12th Avenue, to 12th Street and 11th Avenue to 15th Street.
A service will take place following the parade at the Robert E. Laws Veterans Mall located at 11th Avenue & 14th Street.

A Memorial Day Parade will also take place in the Downtown Juniata section of Altoona on Monday at 9:30 a.m.
Parade Route:
North 4th Avenue and North 8th Street to North 5th Street to North 6th Avenue
to North 2nd Street to North 11th Avenue to Broadway to the Brubaker Ball Field
Services will be held at the Juniata VFW located at North 2nd Street and North 16th Avenue.

The Catholic War Vets will also sponsor a parade at 8:40 a.m.; the route is 13th St./Crawford Ave. to 4th Ave, to 14th St, to St. Mary's Church to 15th St. to 2nd Ave to 12th St. to St. Mary's Cemetery.
