Notice

Notice is hereby given that Altoona City Council will hold a public hearing at 5:30
P.M. on Monday, June 12, 2023 in the City of Altoona Training Facility and Council Chambers, 1320 Washington Avenue, Altoona, PA, to receive public comment on, and immediately thereafter at the regularly scheduled Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. that same date, consider whether to adopt and may actually adopt at said Council meeting the following ordinance: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALTOONA AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF ALTOONA, CHAPTER 800 ENTITLED “ZONING,” TO:  AMEND SECTION 800-27 ENTITLED "ZONING MAP" TO REZONE, FROM R-SH, SINGLE HOUSEHOLD-RESIDENTIAL TO M-RC MIXED USE RESIDENTIAL-
COMMERCIAL, TEN PARCELS OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHERN SIDE OF SOUTH KETTLE STREET FROM EAST GRANT AVENUE TO EAST BALTZELL AVENUE, ALL AS SHOWN ON THE MAP ATTACHED TO SAID ORDINANCE AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDE ENABLING AND SEVERABILITY OF PROVISIONS, REPEALER AND ESTABLISH AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A full copy of the proposed ordinance is available for review Monday through Friday during regular business hours in the City Clerk’s Office, Altoona City Hall, 1301 12th Street, Suite 100, Altoona, PA.
